Gustavo Dudamel returns to conduct Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra

This month, Gustavo Dudamel returns to conduct to the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and embarks on a six-city tour across Sweden, Portugal, and Spain with the ensemble. Now in his fifth year as Music Director of the orchestra, Gustavo performs two of Richard Strauss’s tone poems, Don Juan and Also Sprach Zarathustra, as well as Haydn’s Symphony No. 103, “Drumroll” with the GSO on March 21 and 22. They reprise this music at Stockholm’s Konserthus on March 24. Gustavo and the GSO then take their program of Strauss and Haydn on the road to Spain and Portugal, with performances in Lisbon (March 27), A Coruña (March 28), Oviedo (March 29), Murcia (March 30), and Madrid (March 31).
